Terms and Conditions


GOURMET BAZAR GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS ARE DRAWN UP IN ACCORDANCE WITH EUROPEAN LAW.


Making an order on the Gourmet Bazar website by an internet user implies full and complete acceptance of all the present general sales conditions.


AGE POLICY

Gourmet Bazar serves customers who are at least 18 years old.

ORDERING

We accept orders for delivery to addresses in Finland.

Gourmet Bazar can make exceptions to some deliveries to outside of its service area. It depends on the final destination and availability of goods.

Orders can be made through website, by email: cantina@gourmetbazar.it or through private message of Gourmet Bazar Facebook page.

Once the customer has placed an order, he is committed to the details given: the seller does not accept any responsibility for any errors in the delivery address provided, resulting in the non-delivery of goods.

Orders are not considered firm until the buyer has paid for them.

Gourmet Bazar strictly reserves the right to refuse orders in case of doubt about the former existence of an identical order.

Gourmet Bazar offers are solely available to private people in no case to any type of food resellers or distributors in abroad. Gourmet Bazar is therefore allowed to cancel any order that would not meet this criteria.

DELIVERY AND RECEIPT

"NOUTOPISTE" DELIVERY:

All of our food products are delivered with temperature controlled packages directly to pick-up points in Finland.

Delivery is made monthly, on specific date confirmed by Gourmet Bazar. Notifications are published on FB group Gourmet Bazar Lähetykset. Customer is responsible for following the group and pick up the goods when goods arrive. Customer is responsible for pick up the goods within 3 days.

However buyer should remember that the goods will be delivered only if the buyer has paid for them and received the confirmation.

Gourmet Bazar and its pick-up points are not responsible for any losses or damages that may happen to the products, if client do not pick up the goods within 3 days.

PRIVATE DELIVERIES:

All of our food products are delivered with temperature controlled packages via AirExpress airfreight. Delivery will be made within the period forecasted directly to the customer's addressee.

Notification of exact delivery day is sent to customer, who is responsible to be present during the arrival of package.

Gourmet Bazar is not responsible for any losses or damages that may happen to the food products, if client is absent and do not react to the delivery notifications.

However buyer should remember that the goods will be delivered only if the buyer has paid for them and received the confirmation.

DELIVERIES FOR OILS / HONEYS:

All of our bottles and jars are delivered in secure boxes to be handed over in a single delivery at the same address. Oils and honeys are transported directly to customers home address.

LIMITED PRODUCTS

Delivery times for extremely limited products that need reservation will be agreed with the customer.

However buyer should remember that the goods will be delivered after the buyer has paid for them and received the confirmation.

FORCE MAJEURE

Any delays resulting from war, uprisings, fire, strikes, accidents, storms, extreme weather conditions are considered to be due to Force Majeure, thereby releasing the seller from the obligation to make the delivery. Any possible delay does not give the buyer the right to cancel the sale, to reject the goods or to claim damages.

PRICES

Prices are given in € (EUR).

"Noutopiste" delivery - prices include transport costs.

Oil & Honey delivery - prices include transport costs.

Private delivery - prices do not include transport costs.

The price given in the Gourmet Bazar order confirmation and invoice, which is sent by email, is the final price, with all taxes and including VAT.

This final price includes the cost of the goods, maintenance, packing and storing as well as shipping.

PAYMENT

Payment is due upon order and in advance of delivery. Payment can be made by bank transfer to the instructions below;

Gourmet Bazar accepts Euros.

All prices are correct at the time of quote but are subject to change due to market and economic factors.

All products remain the property of Gourmet Bazar until paid for in full.

An invoice will be issued and sent to the address given by the client for invoices.

The gourmet remain the property of Gourmet Bazar until all corresponding outstanding amounts have been paid. 

PAYMENT REMINDER

Each payment reminder for unpaid overdue invoice has a fee of 25,00€.

CANCELLATION & RETURNS

A change of mind and/or cancellation fee of 50% will apply to any cancelled order that has been processed.

RETURN POLICY

Food products are not subject to be returned. 

DAMAGES

Gourmet goods that have been damaged during transportation will be replaced or refunded.

All damages MUST BE notified at same day/moment, goods were received. Customer must take photos of damaged products and send the proofs immediately to Gourmet Bazar WITHIN SAME DAY he/she received it.

Always check the packages on arrival. You have 24 hours to claim any missing goods.

LAWSUITS

All complaints and claims will be carefully dealt with, taking into account that the client is acting in good faith, because he/she has taken his time to expose his/her claims.

In the event of a lawsuit, the client will first inform the company, in an attempt to reach an amicable solution. Should this prove impossible, sole competence corresponds to the Courts, regardless of the agreed delivery destination and means. 

CONFIDENTIALITY

Anxious to protect your privacy, Gourmet Bazar treats all your personal information in the strictest confidentiality.

When you place an order, we need your name, home or business address, your e-mail address and telephone number.

Gourmet Bazar does not sell or hire out its clients' e-mail addresses or personal details.

COMPLAINTS

Gourmet Bazar mission is to provide highest quality products with highest quality service. We care about our customers, therefore we want to serve them in best way with best products. Any complaint is taken very seriously and we respond to complaints as soon as possible.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All copyright, database rights, trademarks and any other intellectual property rights in and to the content on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, banners, buttons, underlying source code and software, is the sole property of Gourmet Bazar, or the applicable licensor.

Any use (including copying, reproduction, duplication, transmission, or display of the content of this website, without the express written permission of Gourmet Bazar) for purposes other than the viewing of information or for ordering purposes, is strictly prohibited.

Permission is granted to electronically copy, and to print in hard copy, portions of this website for the sole purpose of placing an order with Gourmet Bazar or using this website as a shopping resource.

There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we accept your order by way of written order acceptance along with details of the dispatch of your order. At any point up until then, we reserve the right to decline to supply goods or services to you for any reason.

QUALITY GUARANTEE

We are committed to providing our customers with an unsurpassed level of service and are equally committed to ensuring we provide a safe, legal, and first class slow food products.

Gourmet products are kept in their original environment with a purpose to provide the highest quality. Original environment means, that cheeses and cured meats are stored in their original maturing caves. Butter, fresh meat and sweets are fresh products that has been produced 1-2 days before the delivery.

OWNERSHIP

All wines and gourmet products or other goods ordered remain the property of Gourmet Bazar until payment is received in full and successful delivery has been made.
